Job Summary
Lead tunnel system assurance activities for regional tunnel operating systems across Transport for NSW, providing technical oversight across maintenance and upgrade projects while working with systems such as OMCS, PMCS, TMCS, ITS and Fire and Life Safety. Based in Tweed Heads, you’ll operate with a high level of autonomy, collaborating with operators, engineers and contractors to manage condition data, resolve technical issues and ensure assurance standards remain robust across the tunnel asset lifecycle. This is a Permanent Full Time position. Flexible work options may be available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as Systems or Electrical Engineer with hands-on knowledge of tunnel operating systems, control systems, PLCs and integrated ICT environments
- ability to interpret technical documentation
- experience in managing system assurance across maintenance, upgrades and performance testing in complex infrastructure
- clear communication with operational and field teams; strong safety and compliance mindset
