Job Summary
System Engineer for Networking Datacenter and Juniper Portfolio focused on designing and delivering data-center network solutions. Responsible for technical pre-sales support, leading discovery sessions, and translating customer requirements into scalable architectures using Spine-Leaf topologies, EVPN-VXLAN overlays, IP fabric designs, and integrating with HPE compute, storage, and cloud platforms. Activities include delivering technical presentations, workshops, PoCs, and demonstrations; building high-level and low-level design documentation; supporting RFP/RFI responses and business-case validation; advocating for automation and DevOps practices; and acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners in a primarily onsite role at an HPE office. Required skills include data-center networking technologies (EVPN-VXLAN, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS), hands-on experience with QFX/PTX/SRX and Apstra, spine-leaf/IP fabric design, and strong communication and consultative selling capabilities. The role emphasizes technical leadership, customer engagement, and solution design for Juniper networking solutions within HPE offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of data center networking
- EVPN-VXLAN / BGP / OSPF / IS-IS / MPLS
- Hands-on experience with HPE Juniper Networking platforms (QFX, PTX, SRX)
- Apstra experience desirable
- Spine-leaf architectures and IP fabric designs
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Consultative selling approach
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
