Job Summary
Maintain system integrity, performance, and security for critical client/server environments while managing system administration automation and security compliance. Execute daily tasks involving strong problem-solving and communication within a small, mission-focused team that frequently interacts with users and customers. Manage networking devices including Cisco, Juniper, and Arista, alongside Windows/Linux systems and containerization platforms. Escalate issues to management and ensure adherence to security protocols and patching schedules. Requires a current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph and six years of systems engineering experience.
Required Qualifications
- A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph
- No CCA's
- Six (6) years of systems engineering experience
- A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area)
- A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience
- A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience
- Strong System Engineering and System Administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Security Compliance
- Strong knowledge of networking devices (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
- Strong System Administration skills for Windows/Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching
- Communication and escalation of issues to management
