Job Summary
Contribute to the development of AI/ML Vision applications and features on NXP MCU platforms i.MX RT and MCXN. Develop demos based on NXP HW and SW to showcase AI/ML Vision applications on low power devices. Develop and debug features in C a middleware library that ties cameras, GPU, NPU and displays. Work with ML models: train, convert and quantize for MCU deployment. This one-year contract role offers flexible work hours and a work-from-home policy. Based in Bucharest, the team is international and multi-site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree (or graduating soon) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline
- Knowledge in languages: C, C++, Python
- Must have good communication skills in English (written and spoken), we work in an international multi-site team
- The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with embedded hardware, hand-on experience with microcontrollers is a plus
- Knowledge of an RTOS is a plus
- Academic knowledge of machine-learning/artificial intelligence is a plus
- Model training experience is a plus
