System Engineer

Job Summary
Support Fronius sales strategy by configuring robotic, automated, and manual welding systems for new and existing customers. Provide equipment support, troubleshooting, and installation guidance at client locations while managing quotes, bids, and spare part recommendations. Conduct feasibility studies, lead product introductions, and deliver training for regional teams and clients. Forward market feedback to Technical Support International and assist in product modifications. Travel throughout the USA and overseas to execute product configurations and technical guidance at trade events.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a valid passport, or has the ability to obtain and pay for a valid passport
- Must be willing and authorized to travel throughout the USA and possibly overseas
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Has a high interest in technology, and in particular enjoys the trade of welding
- Experience in the field and/or electrical technology/engineering
- Associate or bachelor's degree in related field
- Robot programming/integration experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and/or remotely
- Candidate must be able to work with a team or alone as the need arises
- Candidate must have a high degree of problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability as a team contributor
- Must comply with all safety and health standards established by Fronius USA, LLC and federal, state, or local requirements
- Ability to bend and reach, with repetitive motion
- Physical demands of the job include standing, use of hands to manipulate objects, talking, hearing, looking, typing, walking, twisting, and bending
- Employees could be requested to lift, carry, reach above the shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, and crouch
- Employees could be required to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Employees will perform duties in an office environment and a field setting
- Employees will be occasionally exposed to tripping hazards
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to medium
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or German
- High interest in technology, and in particular enjoys the trade of welding
