Job Summary
System Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join Boeing's Mission Operations team in Herndon, VA. Responsible for translating requirements into validated system designs, interfaces, and acceptance criteria; enforcing configuration management and infrastructure-as-code; ensuring reliability and observability through verification and validation; leading integration and validation; documenting security best practices; assisting with root-cause analysis and maintaining system documentation; participating in planning for upgrades and migrations; and staying current with technologies and security practices. Requires active TS/SCI clearance and 3+ years of related experience, plus a Bachelor's degree. Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit. Summary pay ranges provided for Experienced and Senior levels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- This position requires an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance and current FSP (Full Scope Polygraph) (U.S. Citizenship Required).
- Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
- Experience with requirements management and testing
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar tooling
