Job Summary
Prepare System Requirements Specifications, define and manage system interfaces, and analyze technical documentation from suppliers. Conduct design reviews for assigned onboard systems and prepare Functional Requirements Specifications alongside performance test plans. Support system stand-alone type tests, onboard integration, and validation phases while reviewing design documentation with customers and suppliers. Ensure compliance with international railway regulations and project constraints, then prepare documentation for vehicle approval and support the homologation phase. This role sits within the Rolling Stock Engineering Department, requiring 3-5 years of railway sector experience and familiarity with IBM DOORS and RAMS principles.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years in the Railway sector or in complex industrial environments
- Good knowledge of main railway regulations and standards
- Good knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool
- Experience with engineering processes and railway operations
- Good knowledge of system engineering and requirements management disciplines
- Good knowledge of RAMS principles and processes
- Experience with design verification and validation methodologies
- Experience with electrical / mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.)
- Experience with electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering disciplines
- Good knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, international and multicultural environment
- Good organizational skills, alongside team-working, problem-solving and results-driven mindset
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners, customers)
- Ability to work within project teams under minimal supervision
- Availability for occasional short-term national and international business trips
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics disciplines preferred)
