Job Summary
Lead planning, design, and cutover strategies for multi-platform infrastructure, focusing on compute, storage, and virtualization platforms. Execute installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, enterprise storage, and hypervisors in physical and virtual environments while ensuring service availability, data integrity, and security during complex migration events. Develop migration runbooks, validation plans, and contingency procedures; coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams for seamless integration and security boundary enforcement. Manage backup and recovery procedures, maintain detailed documentation of configurations and topology, and create reports on system performance and security incidents. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide infrastructure solutions, offering recommendations for system improvements based on analysis and industry best practices.
