Job Summary
System Engineer responsible for thermodynamic design, modeling, and optimization of chiller systems and integration of multiple technologies for product development. Tasks include designing chiller architecture, performing FMEA and qualification planning, optimizing heat exchangers, coordinating with compressor, heat transfer, supply chain, and manufacturing teams, defining chiller control requirements, validating performance and reliability in lab and field, compiling test data, and supporting production implementation. Requires a Master’s degree or higher, minimum 2 years of experience (PhD candidates welcome with 0 years), English proficiency, and strong collaboration skills; prior experience with water-cooled chillers and engineering software (Python/Fortran/C/Matlab/VBA) is preferred. Must be able to work in a global team and contribute to cost targets and quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in Refrigeration & Cryogenics, Heat Transfer, or related engineering disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of working experience (PhD candidates welcome with 0 years)
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Python, Fortran, C, Matlab, or VBA for engineering simulation/optimization preferred
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong teamwork, communication skills; ability to work independently in a global team
- Experience in water-cooled chiller development preferred
- Open-minded, proactive, motivated
