Job Summary
Senior-level System Engineer (SE) with TS/SCI w/Poly; analyzes user requirements, concepts of operations, and high-level architectures to develop system requirements specifications and lead design efforts. Provides technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology; develops system architecture and documentation; guides stakeholders and communicates with government personnel. Works on risk assessment for the integration and deployment of 20+ business systems, with familiarity of COTS risk assessments. Develops DoDAF/SOA-aligned solutions, system engineering plans, interface control documents, and test/verification activities; participates in DoD Certification/Accreditation processes and JCIDS documents; supports configuration management, control boards, and end-to-end system trade analyses. Qualifications include a 20-year SE background, a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience), and active TS/SCI w/ Poly. Location-focused roles based in Laurel, MD and Annapolis Junction, MD; no explicit remote work stated. Required Qualifications
- Twenty (20) years' experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
