Job Summary
Analyze user requirements and system architectures to develop specifications, lead design activities, and manage derived requirements for production systems compatible with DoDAF and SOA standards. Create system engineering documentation including plans, capability documents, and interface control documents while allocating real-time process budgets and error budgets. Coordinate cross-discipline action items from configuration control board meetings, design reviews, and test reviews to ensure baseline integrity throughout the development lifecycle. Access production NiFi to ensure inbound data flows correctly, submit data management and change requests, and resolve data formatting issues or backlogs. Generate alternative system concepts, create dataflow and network diagrams, and develop operational concepts describing system interactions. Manage RF antenna drawings and support Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) document development.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI - Polygraph required
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) REQUIRED
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems with understanding of analog to digital dataflow and conversion processes
- Experience with Confluence/Jira used for communication and documentation
- Experience with NiFi
- Experience with DoDAF
- Experience with SOA
- Experience with Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Non repudiation, and Availability)
- Experience with Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms (e.g., Identification, Authentication, Access Control, Accountability)
- Experience with Security Mechanism Technology (Passwords, cryptography, discretionary access control, mandatory access control, hashing, key management, etc.)
- Experience with creating and updating engineering and RF antenna drawings and network diagrams
- Capable of creating dataflow diagrams documenting the network connections required for system functionality
- Prior experience with requesting IPs be added to System Security Plans
