Job Summary
System Director of Strategic Initiatives to lead disciplined execution of MUSC’s cancer service line strategic priorities across multiple campuses and administrative units. Responsibilities include strategic project management for new cancer center launches, hospital build-out, service expansion, and access optimization; development and tracking of annual strategic work plans, KPIs, and executive dashboards; governance and stakeholder communications; and acting as a liaison between the Cancer ICCE and the MUSC Health Strategy Office to align cancer initiatives with enterprise planning. Ideal candidate brings 8–10+ years in healthcare strategy/project management within oncology or academic health systems, with strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple initiatives in a matrixed environment, and experience coordinating across teams to ensure progress from idea to implementation. Preferred qualifications include experience within a cancer center or academic health system and knowledge of Epic, Tableau, or project management software.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field required.
