Job Summary

Senior Engineer at Viatel System Centric Services responsible for acting as the senior technical authority for assigned managed services customers. Build trusted advisor relationships, lead technical consultations and service reviews, provide leadership across Cloud Services, Infrastructure, Data Protection, Disaster Recovery and Security, align technical services with customer priorities, drive service improvements, provide escalation support to Viatel Service Centre teams, ensure best-practice infrastructure management, collaborate with sales to develop ICT roadmaps, manage service reporting, participate in training and knowledge-base development, mentor colleagues, evaluate new technologies, and maintain relevant certifications. Requires proven MSP operations experience, strong relationship-building, SLA/KPI delivery, multi-customer management, advanced Microsoft Cloud skills (Azure, M365, security), virtualization and data-protection tooling, and ITIL familiarity; hybrid work arrangement with 2 in-office days per week in Dublin or Limerick.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in ICT Managed Services (MSP)
  • Microsoft Cloud expertise (Azure IaaS/PaaS, Microsoft 365)
  • Security and cybersecurity knowledge
  • ITIL certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong customer-facing skills and ability to manage multiple customers
