Job Summary
Install plumbing lines, fittings, and connections for jetted tub, air bath tub, and walk-in tub systems according to work orders and product specifications. Mount jets, jet bodies, air injectors, blowers, air lines, heaters, and control valves into tub shells. Ensure all fittings are properly sealed, torqued, and secured before advancing units to quality testing. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment while maintaining adequate parts and reporting shortages or malfunctions to the Production Supervisor. This Safety Sensitive role requires knowledge of basic plumbing principles and the ability to read assembly diagrams.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing principles, fittings, and sealing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, or assembly specifications
- Proficient and safe with hand and power tools, including drills, wrenches, and torque tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail to ensure leak-free, fully functional installations
