System Analyst

Job Summary
Gather, document, and test clear business requirements from clients while serving as the ScrumMaster on State of Michigan projects. Translate needs into technical specifications, develop process flows and user stories, and create detailed test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing. Execute testing, log defects, support User Acceptance Testing, and validate delivered solutions against documented standards. Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure documentation remains accurate and updated. Requires Azure DevOps proficiency, 3+ years in Business or Quality Assurance roles, and onsite presence Tuesday/Wednesday in Lansing, MI.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years: Business Analyst
- 3 years: Quality Assurance Analyst
- Azure DevOps Knowledge – or similar tool like JIRA (comfortable with creating epics/features/user stories for projects as well as moving cards through project lifecycle)
- Understanding of BA, QA, DEV roles/responsibilities
- Experienced with as-is/to-be processes and content creation
- Experience with creating product roadmap
- Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies/Agile
- Adept with using BA/QA tools (e.g., FIGMA, Visio)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment
- This is a W2 position
- 4 hrs per week
- HYBRID schedule - NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION
- Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week
- This position has on-site/in person workdays on Tuesday/Wednesday
- Local candidates only
- The candidate must reside within 1-hour of Lansing, MI by the time of submission
