Job Summary
Design and map integrations between internal systems and external payment platforms within clinical trials, interpreting protocol specifications and EDC documentation to solve non-standard, ambiguous requirements. Bridge the gap between technical implementation and business needs by collaborating with development teams to validate designs and documenting data flows for varied audiences. Manage end-to-end site payment workflows, including visit verification, trigger processing, and reconciliation, while investigating discrepancies and resolving payment holds with finance and clinical operations teams. Ensure payment rules align with executed site budgets and country-specific financial requirements. Full-time, 100% remote role in Central or South America with a 12-month duration and onboarding training period.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Systems Analyst, or as a developer who has transitioned into a Systems Analyst role
- Demonstrated ability to work with protocol specifications and technical or API documentation
- Experience with payment platforms or financial systems integration
- Previous experience in the clinical trials industry, with practical knowledge of clinical operations, clinical trial payments, or site payment processes
- Experience in the CRO (Contract Research Organization), pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences companies
- Advanced written and spoken English fluency (from B2 level to C1/C2)
- Must be located in Central or South America
- Must be available for a short-paid onboarding/training period of approximately 1–2 hours per day for about a week before the official project start
