Job Summary
System Analyst – Network Technology responsible for designing, implementing, and managing local and wide area networks to optimize data flow for Information and Operational Technology Systems. Responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers; providing day-to-day network operations support; resolving multi-vendor issues (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet); collaborating with carriers on data transport; patching and cyber security hardening of network infrastructure; implementing policies and procedures for asset tracking, information protection, change management, security monitoring, controls, and recovery to ensure compliance with internal cyber security standards and NERC CIP; and managing secure interactive remote access. The role requires experience with MPLS/IPSec, managing networking vendor platforms (Fortigate, Cisco, Palo, F5), IP routing in complex networks (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, multitasking and adaptability, good written/verbal/organizational skills, ability to learn new technologies, availability for off-hours and weekend work for upgrades and on-call rotations, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include experience designing/deploying network solutions, familiarity with Aviat/Coriant equipment, routing protocols (BGP, MP-BGP, VRF), system integration, NAC (Cisco ISE), troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow), and experience in the gas/electric utility sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field; or an Associate’s Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma with at least 7 years of experience in Information/Operational Technology
