Job Summary
Manage the Wideband Global SATCOM System (WGS) operational support for the US Space Force, Space Operations Command, and Space Delta 8. Provide technical expert-level virtual machine and virtualization administrator support for the Wideband SATCOM Operational Management System (WSOMS). Maintain points of presence located at multiple sites across CONUS and OCONUS to ensure day-to-day management of DoD satellite communications capabilities. This role requires a US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance and at least five years of systems administration experience. Compensation ranges from $115,000.00 to $165,000.00. Required Qualifications
- US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
- Minimum 5 years experience as a systems administrator in any operating system (e.g. Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.)
- Proficient in Virtual Machine (VM) Ware and Hyper-Virtual (Hyper-V)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, IT management, or related technical field preferred
- Familiar with other virtualization protocols and cloud computing
