Job Summary
System Administrator role responsible for IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment, including DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory, with a focus on troubleshooting, security compliance, and collaboration with Cybersecurity. Will work as part of a team in a 24x7 environment, with documentation and training on advanced IT processes, and must obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification within 6 months. Travel up to 10% per year to other U.S. locations; full-time, onsite work with relocation assistance available. Requires active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship. On-site location in Marlborough, MA with potential for in-depth security and compliance tasks, patching, vulnerability remediation, and use of technologies such as VMware (ESXi/vCenter), MECM/SCCM, and various Windows/Linux services; must be able to work beyond standard hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
