Job Summary
Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems, including client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile devices. Manage configuration and daily operations while providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, optimize system performance, and conduct capacity analysis to improve reliability. Coordinate with teams to resolve hardware problems and communicate status to agency management. Ensure compliance with NSA and DoD security standards. Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph, 10 years of experience, and a bachelor's degree. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates moving to Fort Meade, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to relocate to Fort Meade, MD
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of additional experience (substitutable for a bachelor's degree)
- In-depth experience with troubleshooting IT systems and optimizing system operations
- Proficiency in configuring and managing both UNIX and Windows operating systems, including network components
- Familiarity with NSA requirements and security standards
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
