System Administrator - Level 2 (Linux System Admin)

Job Summary
Administer day-to-day IT systems including availability, backups, configuration changes, and patching for physical and virtual environments. Resolve software and hardware issues, perform system recovery, and monitor configurations to ensure data integrity. Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support in a 7x24 environment by consulting with clients, vendors, and application programmers. Conduct capacity planning, system tuning, and upgrades while developing administrative policies and documentation. Configure workstations, servers, and network components to meet technical specifications, establish acceptance criteria, and coordinate hardware delivery. Respond to system alerts and engage in troubleshooting using various testing tools for desktops, servers, and networks.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
- Ten (10) years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
