Job Summary
System Administrator, Level 2 responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems, and providing 24/7 mission and infrastructure monitoring, notification, administrative support, logging, ticketing and reporting for supported systems. Coordinates with ISP and GW GES watch staff, customers, and support personnel for notification and response to event activity; IFSD personnel perform router and switch updates in support of security actions. Shift work with weeknights/weekends (Sun–Thu 2pm–10pm or Mon–Fri 2pm–10pm) and hybrid work options where available. Must have strong IT/infrastructure and security qualifications and be able to obtain/maintain U.S. security clearance; benefits include PTO, holidays, healthcare options, retirement plan with 401(k) match, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED with 15 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA): Security
- CompTIA CySA+
- CompTIA Security+ CE
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
