Job Summary
The role involves installing, configuring, and upgrading desktop hardware, operating systems, and software while providing desktop support and troubleshooting for end-users. Responsibilities include diagnosing software errors and hardware failures, troubleshooting printing issues, resetting user accounts, setting up new desktops and peripherals, and ensuring antivirus protection is up to date. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, four years of IT or Service Desk experience, specific certifications, and be able to handle tickets and escalate complex issues as needed. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information science, engineering, business, or related scientific or technical discipline or equivalent
- Four (4) Years of relevant experience working in an IT or Service Desk environment
- Must have at least four (4) years of relevant experience working in an IT or Service Desk environment
- Must meet DoDM 8140.03 compliance (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Server+)
- Certifications IAT Level II (Security+ CE)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Current US Citizenship required
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent
