Job Summary
Design and implement complex Microsoft 365 and infrastructure solutions to improve security, reliability, and operational efficiency. Manage identity, endpoint, email, and cloud services while resolving technical issues across users, devices, and network-connected systems. Deliver projects from requirements gathering through documentation and handoff, ensuring 90%+ on-time completion and 99.9% service availability. Reduce recurring support issues through root-cause analysis, automation, and process improvements, creating reusable runbooks and knowledge base articles. Collaborate with a small IT team to balance project delivery, escalations, and daily operations, providing knowledge transfer to reduce single-person dependencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5–8 years of experience serving as the core technical contributor responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex Microsoft 365, infrastructure, endpoint, identity, or cloud-based solutions
- Proven record of designing and implementing complex Microsoft 365, infrastructure, endpoint, identity, or cloud-based solutions that improved business or IT outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from requirements gathering and design through implementation, documentation, handoff, and ongoing support
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender, and related security and compliance capabilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including core services, identity, governance, security, and operations
- Experience improving identity, endpoint, email, security, automation, or operational processes in a production environment
- Ability to resolve complex technical issues across users, devices, applications, cloud services, and network-connected systems
- Strong documentation, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Ability to sit/ stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day
