Job Summary
Open position for a System Administrator at Navarro Research and Engineering, requiring active DOE Q clearance or DOD equivalent. The role involves ensuring infrastructure support for critical software development, with emphasized skills in Linux, scripting, Git, and container management.
Required Qualifications
- Active DOE Q clearance or DOD equivalent
- Familiarity with RHEL (or CentOS)
- Basic Linux shell commands
- Bash, PowerShell, Python scripting
- Basic networking (TCP-IP, IPV4, IPV6, DNS, etc.)
- Basic connectivity (SSH, wget, curl)
- Basic understanding of application patching/upgrading
- Git version control and familiarity with pull requests/reviews
- GitHub actions/workflows and work tracking/issues
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
Desired Qualifications
- Docker/Podman CLI and basic image operations
- Familiarity with GitOps and Kustomize using ArgoCD
- Familiarity with Quay Container registry
- Knowledge of Artifactory package management system
- Experience with Microsoft Azure console and resource management
- Familiarity with Mattermost, Jenkins, Jira/Bitbucket, Keycloak, PostgreSQL, Tekton
