Job Summary
System Administrator role focused on designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the corporate network infrastructure in a mission-critical environment. Responsibility areas include Windows, Linux, and MacOS administration; secure networking (VPNs, firewalls), cloud and on-premises environments; Active Directory/Azure AD and Office 365 administration; configuring and monitoring systems with tools like Intune and Grafana; ensuring CMMC compliance; providing Level 2/3 support and collaborating with security personnel and developers to deliver robust, secure, and compliant network environments.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with an Associate’s degree and DoDInst. 8570 IAT Level 2 in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of experience with DoDInst. 8570 IAM Level 2 in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience with a master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or similar
- 3-4 years of experience managing secure network environments and infrastructure
- Proficiency in Windows, MacOS and Linux
- Experience with Windows Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Office 365 environments
- Experience with VPNs and firewalls
- Familiarity with CMMC Level 2+ controls and implementation practices
- Experience with network monitoring (e.g., Intune, Grafana)
- Clearance: Secret (active)
- Proficiency in networking protocols (IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, SSH)
- Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II
- Experience with cloud and on-premises environments
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 11, Ubuntu and other Linux distributions
- Experience supporting federal systems and federal cybersecurity standards
- Ability to work in a department that supports TRABUS and development teams
Additional Requirements
- Active Secret clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field mentioned as alternative to requirements; candidate may have multiple pathways to qualification
