Job Summary
System Administrator & IT Executive to monitor, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure across servers, networks, and security. Responsibilities include system checks, software updates, patch management, troubleshooting, managing routers/switches/firewalls/VPNs, end-user support, backups and disaster recovery, vendor coordination, IT documentation, and compliance. Requires bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in system administration or IT support; strong Windows/Linux, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN), experience with Cisco devices; firewall management; certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, MCSA, CCNA preferred; AWS knowledge advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in system administration or IT support roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and server administration
- Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
- Hands-on experience with networking devices such as Cisco switches/routers preferred
- Familiarity with firewall management and access control policies
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or CCNA are preferred
- AWS Cloud knowledge is an added advantage
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills
