Job Summary
Systems Operator for extracurricular assignment at Scott-Teays Elementary School. Responsibilities include server maintenance (cleanup of student/teacher files, clearing the print queue, setting the time, installing new programs, loading students at year start, configuring intruder alert), resolving teachers’ network/computer concerns, attending computer training, maintaining records/inventories and equipment serial numbers, compiling and submitting required reports, submitting requests for new equipment and for network/repair needs, conducting staff training on the server/computer system and software, disseminating curricular information from state/county/principal/industry sources, and assisting staff and students with curricular software and computer usage. Employment term aligns with the 2026-27 school year with an after-school/evening schedule.
Required Qualifications
- The successful candidate must be a regularly employed professional educator at the school and have a working knowledge of computers and computer network systems.
