Job Summary
Lead end-to-end facilities readiness for 8 Kippax, embedding FM requirements into the handover process, building the vendor roster, and implementing the 52-week PPM schedule. Own day-to-day operations at 8 Kippax, managing post-opening stabilisation, reactive maintenance, and vendor performance against SLAs. Simultaneously, oversee business-as-usual facilities operations across the wider Sydney campus portfolio, including minor works, moves, and refurbishments. Establish compliance frameworks, maintain asset registers, and lead the on-site maintenance team while collaborating with Workplace Experience, IT, Security, and People. Report directly to the Global Facilities Lead. Full-time on-site in Sydney with flexibility to work from home.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in facilities management within a commercial or tech environment
- Proven ability to stand up FM operations from scratch
- Vendor mobilisation
- PPM implementation
- Compliance frameworks
- Strong knowledge of WHS
- Statutory compliance
- Building systems
- Vendor governance
- Experience managing building handovers
- Working closely with construction or project delivery teams
- Ability to flex across multiple Sydney sites
- Provide cross-site support when priorities demand it
- This role is based full time on site in Sydney
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally with exposure to building openings or major fit-out handovers
- Comfortable owning a building as if it were your own
- High bar for quality, safety, and the day-to-day experience of everyone who uses the space
- Comfortable managing a multi-site portfolio
- Holding 8 Kippax and the wider Sydney campus to the same standard
