Job Summary

The Sybase DBA role involves handling complex data and database management activities, including designing databases, leading data modeling and capacity planning, and troubleshooting issues. Candidates must have extensive experience with Sybase ASE database design and administration, proficiency in Sybase ASE versions 15.7 or 16, and experience in Solaris environments. Effective communication skills are also essential.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years Sybase ASE database design and administration experience
  • 2+ years' experience with ASE 15.7 or ASE 16
  • Experience with Sybase replication server in a Solaris environment
  • Experience implementing Sybase ASE Security and Directory Services Option
  • Working knowledge of LDAP
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
