Job Summary
Middle School Physical Education (PE) Teacher responsible for delivering standards-aligned PE instruction, using research-based curriculum and effective instructional strategies; designing lessons to ensure access to grade-level content; using data and formative assessment to drive instruction; building trusting relationships; collaborating with colleagues in co-teaching teams and PLCs; engaging families; supporting students 0for success beyond middle school; participating in professional learning, coaching, and feedback cycles; mentoring residents or student teachers where applicable; and performing duties assigned by the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Deparment of Elementary and Secondary Education license in the appropriate subject and grade level (Physical Education) required. Candidates not yet licensed may be eligible for a licensure waiver and are encouraged to apply
