Job Summary
Develop and lead engaging activities for PK3 through 5th grade students while serving as an energetic role model in a bilingual Montessori environment. Maintain daily schedules, classroom rules, equipment upkeep, and record-keeping, while assisting with arrival/dismissal and lunch/recess coverage as needed. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and special projects. This 10-month part-time position requires fluency in English or Spanish, experience with diverse abilities, and completion of TB screening and background checks. Compensation starts at $18.40/hour. Required Qualifications
- Experience working with students PK3 - 5th grade
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fluency in English OR Spanish
- Ability to work with students of various abilities, including those with identified exceptionalities
- Energetic, flexible, imaginative, and eager to work in a bilingual and multicultural public school
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Meet TB screening requirements
