Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting responsible for developing and implementing IEPs for students on caseload, providing speech/language screening and diagnostic services, collaborating with regular and special education staff, maintaining accurate records, following program guidelines and safety procedures, and contributing to a comprehensive special education program. Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure/certification eligibility; duties include follow-up procedures, monitoring student progress toward IEP goals, parent communication, and adherence to federal/state laws and board policies. 188-day contract; salaried, exempt; Canton, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or eligibility for certification as required by state licensure agency
- Possess or be eligible for proper certification from the state licensure agency
- Valid license/certificate/credential as may be required for this position
