Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsible for planning and delivering standards-based Social Studies instruction for Bridge Boston Charter School. Collaborates with grade-level teams and the DCI to align unit and lesson plans with the school's academic vision, communicates with families about student learning, and maintains a positive classroom culture. Manages assessments and uses data to inform instruction, participates in ongoing professional development, and upholds Bridge Boston values (JAGUAR, restorative practices). Requires a BA/BS, Massachusetts teaching certification, and SLI endorsement; 2-3 years teaching experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS required; appropriate graduate coursework preferred
- Massachusetts Provisional, Initial, or Professional teaching certification
- Sheltered English Immersion endorsement
