Job Summary
Instructional Coach & Academic Lead Teacher for SY 2026-2027 at Alexis I. du Pont Middle School, focusing on elevating ELA and Multilingual Learner instruction. Lead targeted mentorship of 9 ELA and 3 MLL teachers, support curriculum revisions and lesson internalization, champion evidence-based practices for access to grade-level texts, monitor and analyze instructional quality via MTSS and IPG frameworks, utilize video-reflection to inform practice, contribute to the school's professional development roadmap (including SIOP and AVID), and partner with AVID leadership to manage student applications and class rosters. Coordinate MTSS diagnostic placement for rising 7th and 8th graders using iReady, SBAC, and related data; realign assessments to Smarter Balanced IABs; and drive data-informed writing group formation. Oversee MTSS materials logistics, attendance data entry, and district-level collaboration; serve as building representative at district Academic Lead Teacher meetings. Qualifications include Delaware teaching/leadership licenses and experience in district leadership settings; master’s degree or higher preferred.
