Job Summary
Marketing & Communications Manager responsible for shaping the district’s public image and reputation. Leads development and execution of strategic marketing plans to support fundraising, enrollment, and outreach; oversees internal and external communications; serves as district media spokesperson; manages brand identity, website, and social channels; collaborates with leadership teams and community partners; guides crisis communications and stakeholder engagement; requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of leadership experience in marketing/education communications; based in Kansas City, MO, full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communication leadership, public relations, corporate communications, and educational marketing
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Experience in managing and developing marketing and communication teams
- Strong writing/editing skills and ability to translate complex educational data into accessible narratives
- Familiarity with digital content tools (CMS), Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing basics
