Job Summary
Provide learning experiences in the elementary grades as guided by the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and district standards and requirements, while creating an environment that is conducive to student learning; monitor and supervise students with effective classroom management; promote high standards and expectations for student achievement; employ innovative approaches and instructional strategies including the effective use of technologies to increase student learning and confidence; follow professional practices and district policies; participate in faculty meetings and activities; maintain professional competence through PD and self-generated activities; plan and assess curriculum and instruction; differentiate instruction using RTI; implement the district's mission and instructional standards; develop schedules; maintain records; support administration in policies and rules; communicate with students, parents, and colleagues; promote equity and appreciation of diversity; assign additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in OR Early Childhood (PreK-2)
- SEI Endorsement
- Knowledge of current education legislation/regulations
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents and advocate for children to effectively problem-solve
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and ability to work with all stakeholders
- Belief in commitment to increasing personal growth in both academic and social-emotional development for every student
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Master’s Degree preferred
