Job Summary
Autism Support Teacher for Elementary students in Delaware. Full-time role responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring instructional programs, case management, ABA-based differentiated instruction, collaboration with IEP team, supervising para-educators, data collection and assessment, development and implementation of Standards-Based IEPs, and Behavioral Support Plans. Requires Delaware licensure/certification in Autism and Severe Disabilities (K-5) with dual Autism certification; district and state compliance, family collaboration, and professional development participation. Location: Linden Hill Elementary School, Red Clay School District, DE, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Delaware Certification as Teacher of students with Autism and Severe Disabilities or certification eligible
- Classroom experience teaching students with Autism and Severe Disabilities preferred
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and other Evidence-based practices
- Initial, Continuing, or Advanced Delaware Licensure
- Certified in Core Content
- Special Education Certification
- Autism and Severe Disabilities Certification (K-5)
- Dual Certified in Autism
