Job Summary
The Autism Interventionist position focuses on providing district-wide support and expertise for developing and implementing services for children with autism. Responsibilities include developing behavior intervention plans, supporting teachers and paraprofessionals, monitoring student progress, attending IEP meetings, and developing training materials for staff and parents. Applicants must have three years of experience working with autistic individuals, a bachelor's degree, and a valid Georgia teaching certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Georgia Professional Teaching Certificate in the assigned teaching field Special Education Adapted Curriculum
- At least three years experience working with individuals with autism
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Ability to travel daily to more than one location

- Advanced degree(s)
Additional Requirements
- Must hold a Valid Georgia Professional Teaching Certificate
- Must have knowledge related to the evaluation of individuals with autism
