Job Summary
Execute a comprehensive in-season programming plan and develop daily training schedules while recognizing industry trends to inform seasonal goals. Manage on-hill athlete supervision, maintain training and event venues, and ensure strict adherence to safety standards and code compliance. Communicate critical program updates, event details, and policy changes to all constituents while fostering positive relationships with parents and athletes. Attend daily operations meetings, assist with asset protection and inventory control, and participate in working groups as needed. This role requires work on select evenings, all weekends, and holidays during the winter season.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, in progress or completed
- Previous experience participating in and coaching within their respective discipline at a state/local event
- Previous experience maintaining venues in accordance with criteria set by US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA
- US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA membership
- Knowledge and understanding of US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA rules and regulations
- Current Safesport certification
- Current CPR certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Current CDC Heads Up Concussion certification
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work on select evenings and all weekends and holidays during the winter season
- Ability to travel as needed
