Job Summary
Provide quotations for electrical switchgear and components by reviewing construction documents, coordinating with sales teams and manufacturers, and developing BOMs using manufacturer software. Communicate with customers and vendors to troubleshoot questions and facilitate meetings between appropriate representatives. Process information for customers and vendors in a timely manner while maintaining excellent relationships with regional branches and the outside sales team. Deliver accurate and timely quotations for switchgear sales opportunities based on plans and specifications provided by the customer.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of switchgear quotations and/or project management experience
- Dedicated home work space with a door that closes and from which you can work quietly without interruptions
Desired Qualifications
- preferably working at an electrical supplier
- Familiarity with ABB (previously GE) and Siemens lines
- Bachelors of Electrical Engineering or closely related field
