Switchgear Estimator Manager

Job Summary
Lead the Switchgear Estimating team in the Laurel, MD office, overseeing 6–8 direct reports and driving accurate quotations while mentoring staff and standardizing processes. Oversee day-to-day quotation activities for projects of varying size, participate in strategic growth discussions, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams to optimize pricing and vendor partnerships. Develop detailed cost estimates for medium and low-voltage switchgear systems by reviewing project specs and drawings, and drive continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes. Requires 5+ years in Switchgear Estimating, Project Management, or Engineering, with strong leadership and the ability to interpret electrical drawings. Education preferred: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; PMP or related certifications preferred.
