Job Summary
CDL-A FULL-TIME Switchers (Yard Jockeys) move trailers to and from the warehouse dock to yard locations in San Bernardino, CA. Responsibilities include safely handling trailer movements, operating yard trucks, and complying with DOT regulations. Requires a valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of recent Class A driving experience, ability to read/write/speak English, ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, and maintain a current DOT physical. Benefits include home daily, pay of $36 per hour, weekly earnings around $1,000–$1,100, orientation and safety training, and modern equipment. Shifts available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd; 30 hours per week; primarily in-person yard operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening
- Current DOT physical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Must read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
