Job Summary
Operates clinic switchboard, answers phone lines in a polite and friendly manner, and transfers calls to appropriate departments for the main campus. Communicates general clinic information to the general public, responds to emergency calls according to established procedures, and uses the paging system. Assists in data collection related to switchboard operations, maintains schedule flexibility to cover absences, signs for incoming packages, and performs other duties as assigned. Requires professional attire, clear concise verbal communication, adaptability to expanded roles, and adherence to clinic policies and procedures. Reporting to the Patient Services Manager; part-time role with duties centered on frontline telephone and information services in a healthcare setting.
