Job Summary
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a prompt, friendly manner while handling customer and associate questions. Distribute applications to prospective new associates and coordinate appointments for management. File, copy, and perform clerical assignments as needed, including maintaining bulletin boards and posting schedules. Remain knowledgeable of store layout, products, advertised sales, and special events. Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies. Operate the computerized Point of Sale register and PBX system while adhering to all company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system and computerized PBX system
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work in noisy environments
