Job Summary
Switchboard Operator role handling high-volume hospital calls, directing calls to doctors, rooms or wards, providing hospital information, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Requires excellent communication, ability to handle high-pressure situations, basic computer skills, and experience in customer service. Required Qualifications
- Essential Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
- Basic computer proficiency
- 1-2 years’ experience on a similar position
- Experience in a customer service role (preferred)
- Knowledge of Telephone Management Systems
- Competency in data entry, verbal communication, and customer service
