Swiss Machine Operator

Verify shop order documentation against job orders, prints, and setup sheets while monitoring machine production to ensure parts meet quality requirements. Identify and correct tool wear conditions, maintain fluid levels and concentrations, and perform thorough machine cleanouts to prevent material cross-contamination. Record pertinent notes on setup sheets for process modifications and assist in cleaning scrap turnings at the ultrasonic system. Perform external setup tasks to minimize downtime, modify or sharpen tooling as needed, and notify supervisors of supply shortages or safety hazards. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and utilize dimensional measurement tools to troubleshoot defects.
