Job Summary
The Swiss CNC Machinist will set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components per engineering specs, load materials, verify tooling offsets, interpret blueprints/engineering drawings, perform program edits to maintain tolerances, conduct in-process inspections with precision measuring tools, ensure dimensional and surface finish requirements, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges. Shift is 3rd from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am; $26-$35/hour with 10% shift differential; benefits include medical/dental/vision, life/disability insurance, paid time off and holidays; requires HS diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of machine shop/Swiss CNC experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years machine shop experience in all phases of machining
- 2 years minimum of Swiss CNC experience REQUIRED
- Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and experience working with small precision parts to close tolerances
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing
