Job Summary
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines. Perform routine machine adjustments, tool changes, and production monitoring to ensure quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments and troubleshoot machine issues as they arise. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 standards. This role requires 2+ years of experience operating Swiss CNC machines and strong G-code knowledge. Located in East Hartford, the position offers a competitive salary of $35–$40/hour with full benefits including health, dental, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience operating Swiss CNC machines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of CNC programming; G-code knowledge preferred
- Experience with multi-axis Swiss machines (Citizen, Tsugami)
- Experience machining a variety of materials including stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, and aluminum
- Familiarity with high-precision, tight-tolerance manufacturing environments
- Programming experience is a plus
