Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, attending meals/activities), perform medication setup and administration after training, update resident records, monitor changes in health and behavior, maintain a clean and safe environment, assist with meal preparation and serving, support participation in daily activities, attend trainings, and adapt to evolving resident needs. Requires empathy, dependability, teamwork, confidentiality, and basic computer skills; CPR/First Aid and Food Handler certifications are required or obtained during onboarding. High school diploma or GED and 1–3 months experience with seniors preferred; ongoing training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training with working with seniors
- Basic computer skills/knowledge
- Valid CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during the hiring process)
- Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required but part of your onboarding and training.
